One word: bananarito. A genius combination of bananas wrapped in a fried flat cinnamon churro, topped with a drizzle of chocolate, whip cream and a cherry.
Chicken fried foods (steak or chicken) are in a class all their own. These are probably Texas' second favorite food (behind the "State Dish" of chili) and certainly iconic to any traveler on a road trip hungry for quick sustenance and a warm food coma. This site is devoted to exploring all that is good, breaded and fattening about chicken fried foods in Texas.
